KCB manages more than 150 annual Mechanical/HVAC projects in a retrofit program that started in 2019 with one of our Retail Partners. This site had an old multi-zone hot/cold deck with DX condenser. KCB audited the site and determined it was much more efficient and cost effective to remove the old technology and install a new VRF system that was estimated at four-to-five times more efficient than the current system. At the conclusion of the project Mitsubishi/Trane sent out a factory-certified technician to start up the equipment and verify operation. KCB verified that proper installation and operation standards were adhered to at the completion of the project.
