Full-Service Hotel, Destin FL, DOAS Units
KCB assessed two make-up air units for a full-service hotel in Destin, Florida. The existing equipment was installed in 2017 and was only five years old at the time of the assessment. Due to the proximity to the ocean, and the lack of proper coastal protection, the equipment was completely deteriorated and non-functional. KCB installed two custom DOAS units with coastal protection to ensure the new units are functioning properly for the duration of their intended life. At the conclusion of the project, the factory sent out a certified technician to start up the units and verify operation. KCB verified that proper installation and operation standards were adhered to at the completion of the project.
